Diamond

There was a stone,
Who forgot its name.
Lived a long time;
thinking its coal.
In extreme temperatures,
Buried deep down.
It didn’t know;
What its worth is!
The luster was dull
Due to mud and dust.
It was never aware,
of the sparkle and shine.
Came a day;
when it was pulled out from abyss.
Saw the bright sun
and felt the cool breeze.
Slowly the stone started to glitter.
The wait for it ;
has been so long!
Oh! Diamond,
You sparkle !
You are born for it.
Let the world witness,
Your sheer brilliance.

Equilibrium

A man walks on the rope,
Like a skilled dancer,
At times stretching a leg to one side,
sometimes the hands.
Balancing his weight.
He has to keep moving.
The rope shudders,
as if it wants him to fall.
It quakes and shivers
But the man still stands.
One step at a time,
That’s how he thinks.
At times it feels almost,
The equilibrium is lost.
Heartbeats rise,
Breath stops.
But he still stands.
Bit by bit he moves forward,
Touches the other end.
Aren’t we all that man?
Looking for equilibrium,
throughout The Walk of Life?

The tunnel

I am seeking you, my light!
It’s all jet black now.
I move forward staggering,
I shouldn’t stop!

Obstacles all over,
I stumble in my way.
Deep pain lightning through me.
I fell down,
I shouldn’t stop!

In the dark,
I pull myself up.
The crack in my bone,
gave a scornful grin.
I bit my teeth,
I shouldn’t stop!

Limping , I walk through the unknown.
For I want to reach my light.
It must be there,
at the end of this tunnel.
I shouldn’t stop!

Stay Positive!
