There was a stone,
Who forgot its name.
Lived a long time;
thinking its coal.
In extreme temperatures,
Buried deep down.
It didn’t know;
What its worth is!
The luster was dull
Due to mud and dust.
It was never aware,
of the sparkle and shine.
Came a day;
when it was pulled out from abyss.
Saw the bright sun
and felt the cool breeze.
Slowly the stone started to glitter.
The wait for it ;
has been so long!
Oh! Diamond,
You sparkle !
You are born for it.
Let the world witness,
Your sheer brilliance.

A Fallen cloud
It was a stormy twilight,
Cold and dark,
Light’s whiplashes descended,
Earth in pain screamed .
Deafening thunder!
In to the chaos ,
A tiny Life was born,
Weeping!
there She was,
Like a fallen cloud.
Timid and afraid,
She clenched to nature’s bosoms,
seeking warmth.
The Mother was in agony!
and the Life was soft and fragile.
No pain stopped the Mother,
from nurturing her.
She grew.
Little fingers wrapped around the mother’s.
She slowly took tiny steps.
To see the world,
The colors , the sparkles, the rainbows!
The wounded mother –
aspired to see the Life ,rejuvenating!
Slowly the Mother’s dreams got wings.
Her Life soared in to the sky-
As a Majestic cloud.
to be a shade to many,
to quench the thirst of many.
The mother,The earth ,
Looking at that Life,
held her head high !
