As a person who loves plants, I am forever fascinated by the journey of a seed to a full healthy plant/ tree.. Some plants spring up suddenly from the soil after I have worked in the garden, from seeds that were long lost, dormant , since it was buried deep in the soil or may be wasn’t getting enough water or air. How resilient they are? Nature is always inspiration!
It is all dark,
How long ?- Days or weeks?
The moist yet warm soil;
All around.
Hmm.
It is so cramped.
Finally few roots emerging !
More water!
We are stronger when rooted.
Phew!
Trying to push aside some dirt around,
New green stem;
Emerged out in all glory,
and Spreading the leaves!
Aah! The Sunlight.
From dark to light.
From seed to plant.
That is growth!
But, Is it enough?
The journey just started,
A tree is in the making!
