I wish I was a little girl
  that i could be in her lap ,safe.
I wish I was a little girl
  that i could be ME in front of her.
I wish I was a little girl
  that she was there to hear my woes.
I wish I was a little girl
  that my happiness was when i made her proud.
I wish I was a little girl
  that I could blindly walk through the foot prints
          she asked me to.
I wish I was a little girl
  that I could close my eyes and say innocent prayers
          she asked me to.
I wish I was a little girl
  that I could blindly believe ...
  she was the world!
I wish I was a little girl
  But ... I grew up !!!
